I'll take you step by step through our evening together. I kind of talked Bryan through the stages of a date (for when he is older):
Pick Up Your Date
(Well, Brittney drove them to my apartment, which worked out better for me.)
Go Out to Dinner
(The boys decided on Pirate Island ahead of time)
Do a Fun Activity!
(Gotta love the convenient little arcade inside the restaurant)
Side note: I went on a real date to Pirate Island a year ago. The guy and I played a bunch of games and got ourselves TONS of tickets. Then the guy suggested we give all our tickets to some little kid. It was the coolest thing ever. :)
Enjoy Some Dessert
(Only if you really want to spend more time with your date)
*My Choice: Baskin Robbins Ice Cream*
Hang Out at Someone's House...
(If it's not too late!)
*This is a video of Bryan doing a WiiFit Obstacle Course, and Matty following right along. So cute!*
And Then You Live Happily Ever After...
Those boys are adorable! What a great aunt you are.
ReplyDeleteLove it, Bree! What an awesome aunt you are. The boys were so lucky to get such a fun filled night! Wish I could've joined you guys! Now I'm hungry for ice cream. I swear, every post you do includes some mention of food which makes me crave it right then and there. And I love your bouncy laugh in the video when Matt's goin to town.
ReplyDeleteYou're the best aunt ever!!! Thank you so much for showing them such a good time. That video of Matty makes him look like such a nerd! I don't know where he learned those fairy moves, but he always does that when he gets excited about things. :) At least he's tough and all-boy otherwise!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fun date! And the boys will always remember these times with Aunt Bree! I still have fond memories of Joyce and I with Uncle Don when he was a BYU student....riding in his convertible, and eating pine nuts! Fun times! =)
