Surprise Costume

Tonight I had plans to go to my Grandma's house with Cassity to play our usual game of "Hand & Foot" and eat treats and candy. Cassity told me she wasn't going to dress up, but I was going to wear my Superman costume anyway.  Little did I know, Cassity secretly had other plans!

I got home from work and this is what I found:

I totally laughed and couldn't believe how very ME-like she was!  Bandanna & Tie-Dye shirt... seriously, that's all you need to mock my running attire.  (See previous post for proof).  She had even splashed her face several times with water to try to capture the "sweat" that usually lingers on my skin for awhile after I run.

I was totally impressed!

So we went over to my Grandma's house in style and had a fun evening of playing cards and eating way too much.  As if mini candy bars weren't enough, my grandma also insisted on feeding us her homemade soup concoction (actually quite tasty) and pudding cake with whipped cream.  

(She was proud of her recent flower arrangement from one of her classes).  :)

Even though my Grandma only got 2 trick-or-treaters all night long, we had a good Halloween and I enjoyed another excuse to wear a fun costume.  And I was definitely proud of Cassity for her creativity and STYLE. :)
